Wine, food, and storytelling come together in spectacular fashion at the Durbanville Hills Collectors Reserve Celebration, happening on 27 and 28 August 2025.

This signature event pays tribute to Cape Town through seven iconic landmarks, each inspiring a wine in the Collectors Reserve range. Guests can look forward to an immersive evening featuring seven distinctive cool-climate wines, each paired with a thoughtfully crafted canapé. The journey will be guided by cellarmaster Pieter-Niel Rossouw and the Durbanville Hills winemaking team, who will share the stories behind both the wines and their landmark inspirations.

Highlights include the Cape Mist Sauvignon Blanc with a creamy seafood, pea and coconut risotto; the Cableway Chardonnay alongside a curried chicken canapé; and the Castle of Good Hope Cabernet Sauvignon paired with a slow-cooked beef brisket meatball. Other standouts include the Lighthouse Merlot, Promenade Pinotage, High Noon Shiraz, and Cape Garden Chenin Blanc, each with a unique flavour match.

After the tasting stations, the experience continues at the award-winning Tangram Restaurant, where chef Tamzyn Ehlers and her team will present a stylish two-course dinner, perfectly rounding off an evening of gourmet discovery.

At just R550 per person, the Collectors Reserve event offers not only exceptional wines and food but also a sensory journey through Cape Town’s stories and landscapes.
