City of Cape Town enforcement and emergency services primed for Guy Fawkes
As Guy Fawkes approaches, Cape Townโs enforcement and emergency services are preparing to maintain safety and curb illegal activities. The Cityโs Safety and Security Directorate will focus on known hotspots, monitoring for both fireworks and destructive behaviors like vehicle stoning and mob incidents. Encouragingly, last year saw a 31% drop in fireworks-related incidents.

Artscape Theatre is excited to announce its annual Rural Outreach Concerts, coming to Mamre near Atlantis on the West Coast on the 31st of October and 1st of November 2024 at the Mamre Primary School. This initiative aims to bring high-quality performing arts to rural communities, creating opportunities for cultural enrichment and celebrating local talent, by taking the theatre to the people.
