City of Cape Town enforcement and emergency services primed for Guy Fawkes
As Guy Fawkes approaches, Cape Town’s enforcement and emergency services are preparing to maintain safety and curb illegal activities. The City’s Safety and Security Directorate will focus on known hotspots, monitoring for both fireworks and destructive behaviors like vehicle stoning and mob incidents. Encouragingly, last year saw a 31% drop in fireworks-related incidents.
